The Spirit of Water Book
The Spirit of Water is a photobook exploring the rivers and waterfalls of Scotland.
This book will take you on a journey along slow moving rivers and fast flowing burns to discover a variety of cascades. Some of these places are well known and documented, some have been sought out, trails hidden behind gaps in fences with decaying signposts, or through a faithful following of the sounds of water crashing over rocks through fertile summer foliage with no marked paths. Some I have stumbled upon tucked away by the side of a road, and one I am lucky enough to live within walking distance of, to watch how it changes with the turning of the seasons.
This paperback book measures 148 x210 mm (A5), with 52 pages printed on 130gsm silk paper, perfect bound with a gloss laminated cover. Featuring 47 full colour photographs, introduction and a list of the locations visited.
This book was produced through the generous support of the backers who funded the first edition print run through Kickstarter in November 2024.
